How to Shift from Stuck to Unstoppable: A 5-Day Leadership Reset

Updated: Sep 11

Do you ever feel like you’re doing all the “right” things—setting goals, reading the right books, listening to podcasts—but still feel stuck?

If so, here’s the truth: it’s not about laziness or lack of effort. It’s about identity. The version of yourself that shows up daily is shaping your results, often without you realizing it.

Welcome to The Internal Shift – From Stuck to Unstoppable, a 5-day mini coaching framework designed for leaders who want to break free from stagnation, step into their full potential, and consistently achieve results.

Over this week, you’ll learn how to:

  • Build a crystal-clear vision of the leader you’re meant to be

  • Establish micro habits that stick

  • Design an environment that supports your growth

  • Implement an accountability system to maintain momentum

This isn’t just about productivity—it’s about becoming the kind of leader who naturally gets the results you want.

When you shift who you are, the doing becomes effortless.

Day 1 – The Truth About Why You’re Stuck

Your to-do list isn’t the problem. Your willpower isn’t the problem. The real issue? Your current identity.

Every action you take reinforces the story you tell yourself. If you see yourself as “someone who overprepares but never speaks up,” your choices will consistently align with that story—even if it’s holding you back.

Your Action for Today:

  1. Pick one outcome you want. Example:

    • “Be the runner who never misses a workout.”

    • “Speak up confidently in meetings.”

    • “Lead change with clarity and impact.”

  2. Write down the version of yourself who already owns that outcome:

    • How does she think?

    • How does she show up?

    • What does she believe about herself?

Day 2 – The Invisible Saboteur: Your Current Identity

Habits don’t care about your goals—they follow your current identity.

If your identity is “I’m not great under pressure,” your brain will unconsciously keep you in situations that reinforce that belief.

This creates a loop: Identity → Beliefs → Actions → Results → Reinforced Identity.

Your Action for Today: Identify one belief that could sabotage your desired outcome and rewrite it from the perspective of your Future Self.

Examples:

  • ❌ “I’m not a morning person” → ✅ “I am building the energy and mindset of a morning runner.”

  • ❌ “I get anxious speaking up” → ✅ “I think clearly and confidently when I speak.”

Day 3 – Micro Habits: The Future Self Accelerator

Motivation is fleeting. What really drives change? Micro habits. Tiny, daily actions that compound over time, shaping the leader you’re becoming.

Examples:

  • Put on your running shoes for a 5-minute walk every morning.

  • Ask one thoughtful question in every meeting, even when uncertain.

Your Action for Today: Choose one or two micro habits your Future Self would already do. Make them so small you can’t say no—it’s consistency, not intensity, that creates lasting change.

Day 4 – Installing the Shift: Make Your Environment Work for You

Even the best habits fail if your environment doesn’t support them. Your brain takes the path of least resistance—so make the right actions the easiest ones.

Tips to design an environment that supports growth:

  • Place cues for your habits where you’ll see them. Example: workout shoes by the door.

  • Use accountability anchors—tell a colleague or friend your commitments to stay on track.

Your Action for Today: Identify a trigger for each micro habit and an accountability partner or method to keep yourself consistent.

Day 5 – Your Future Self Game Plan: Bringing It All Together

By now, you’ve crafted the pieces of your transformation:

  • A clear vision of the leader you want to be

  • An empowering belief that fuels confidence

  • Micro habits that drive daily progress

  • An environment set up for success

Now it’s time to integrate them into your Future Self Action Plan—your roadmap for sustainable growth.

Your Action for Today: Write your plan, including:

  1. Who you’re becoming

  2. The belief guiding you

  3. The micro habits you’ll commit to

  4. Environmental tweaks to support your growth

  5. How you’ll maintain accountability

Clarity is power. Action is freedom.
